Log:
resurrect gcc42 support, removed since bug 784029

Reported by: AN <[email protected]>

Oops, I've caught the above error when trying to build on redports and
then confused with the one you reported.

js/src/jstypedarray.cpp:3395:1: error: control reaches end of non-void function
[-Werror=return-type]

Try gcc47 or the attached workaround (put it under files/ dir).

Ok, using gcc4.7 nightly builds successfully again :)

On gcc4.8 with the attached workaround I still get:

I beleive upstream has swithced to clang. Should I use clang to compile nightly? What do you put into the makefile, now I have USE_GCC= 4.8+?

I have clang installed as:
# clang -v
FreeBSD clang version 3.2 (trunk 162107) 20120817
Target: x86_64-unknown-freebsd10.0
Thread model: posix

I am using the base compiler to build world and most ports.

# cc -v
Using built-in specs.
Target: amd64-undermydesk-freebsd
Configured with: FreeBSD/amd64 system compiler
Thread model: posix
gcc version 4.2.1 20070831 patched [FreeBSD]
