The part with default mic will remain unchanged as that's not part of
the cubeb library. As for virtual_oss, I wrote the patch which is in
latest version and it adds rc.d file so configuring it should be easier.
The default settings are well commented, but in case you need help, feel

Thank you. I figured cubeb did not have a way to remember the last used
microphone, but it did not hurt to ask and get confirmation. :)
Also, thank you for writing an rc script to virtual_oss. For now, I am
still overjoyed that we have OSS support and my microphone actually
works.
Although, I would recommend a mention in pkg-message about how to
enable it.
The message is not yet changed, but it is planned. The reason it is not
changed is that I believe khng300 and I share oppinion that code needs
to be done first, once that's OK, message will be updated.
That is what I meant: when committed to ports, a message on how to
enable it would be good. Everything looks good to me now.
