Hi,
I'm running head, commit 1364d8fd9b25d6d3e9618e7be073a1a1b41aa19c from
July 8.
Today my poudriere decided to rebuild thunderbird, and also built the
new firefox.
Both are now crashing on launch with the following error:
XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /usr/local/lib/firefox/libgkcodecs.so:
/usr/local/lib/firefox/libgkcodecs.so: Undefined symbol "sin"
Couldn't load XPCOM.
(same for thunderbird with the directory changed)
I was able to recover thuinderbird functionlity by fetching
libgkcodecs.so from a zfs snapshot. Not tried with firefox since it is
a new version, but it could be a temporary solution for me.
Looking at the build logs I found the error at the tail of the message.
Looks like a -lm is missing somwhere or something has changed in h
FreeBSD head related to this?
I kind of remember some related message in the mailiing lists, but
I've been unable to find it.
PR 296825 is the latest report.
Thanks, I'll push further feedback there
/usr/local/bin/clang19 -U_FORTIFY_SOURCE -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -fstack-
[...]
Can't reproduce with LLVM 22. Probably fine with LLVM 21 as well. May be
some "hidden" Rust interaction, which itself requires at least LLVM 21.
It is using clang19, but I did not direct it to do so, I think that's
the default at present, or am I missing something here?
