Out of curiosity, were the benchmarks done with any of the Haifa
command-line-options, notably -fsched-interblock, -fsched-spec,
-fsched-spec-load, and -fbranch-count-reg ?

(toplev.c, grep for '#ifdef HAIFA', and read the comments
scattered elsewhere (haifa-sched.c))
