NewBie Needs HELP please !!

HellO All , First of all i am totally new to the newsgroups and to FreeBSD as well , so i am not sure whether this is the right group to ask this question or not . So please forgive me if i have made a mistake. Can you please suggest some solution or maybe some reference site that can be of any help . I will really appreciate it .   I was trying to install the latest version of wx200d , the weather station data collector ( http://wx200d.sourceforge.net) FreeBSD  but it is giving me an error continuosly , and the error is when i try to make it it gives out this   ************************************************************************** bash-2.05a$ make gcc  -g -O2  -o wx200  wx200.o -L. -lwx200 -lcrypt wx200.o: In function `main': /home/downloads/wx200d-1.2/wx200.c(.text+0xc03): undefined reference to `getopt_long' *** Error code 1   Stop in /usr/home/downloads/wx200d-1.2. bash-2.05a$ ***************************************************************************     I tried to look for the solution at the google groups but couldnt get much help :( .
