Hi, i got this laptop HP Pavilion n5470, and ESS Allegro ES1988 sound card, also i've installed FreeBSD 5.1RELEASE. I added theese lines into my /boot/loader.conf <snd_maestro3_load="YES">, and after this i can here sound just from cd when doing "cdcontrol -f /dev/acd0 play 1, but i cannot play any other files, and when i try to do "mpg123 xxx.mp3, i can see this error in my /var/log/messages : pcm0: play:0: play interrupt timeout, channel dead
