I applied the patch that Brooks suggested to my 5.2 system uname -a output:
FreeBSD 5.2.1-RELEASE FreeBSD 5.2.1-RELEASE $4: Mon Nov 8 23:27:59 PST 2004 root@:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/COGNITION i386
I still get watchdog timeouts, and eventually a kernel panic which seems to be related. Is there an additional patch to the 5.2 code that I can apply to take care of the watchdog timeout?
