1. ports@ or x11@ may be a better place to discuss this. 2. If you compiled hal port with debug, then the corefile will be useful; otherwise it's useless. If you haven't compiled with debug, do make -C /usr/ports/*/hal -DDEBUG clean deinstall install 3. find / -name '*.core' will help you find the corefile.
