I have had no joy at all with a Rocketport 16-port PCI
setup.
So I'm investigating a different brand.
The hardware list indicates Specialix SI/XIO/SX multiport serial cards
when googling specialix, I get "perle" and find the SX adapter card
will support 8 to 32 devices in 8 port jumps.
Can anyone confirm that perle SX with 24 ports actually works
without any dicking around? My rocketport experiences have left
me gun shy on throwing any more money out.
