Here is the entry that shows up for my CDRom when I type
dmesg in the Konsole.
acd0: CDRW <SONY CD-RW CRX175A1/5YS2> at ata0-slave UDMA33
As far as I know, K3B only supports SCSI burners. You can get around
this by compiling atapicam into your kernel, which provides SCSI
emulation for your CD burner.
