Could you post your dmesg and your Kernel Config. I recently got a Core2Duo and I have no problems with SMP.

Strange enough the two processors are detect at kernel boot, but the second processor is not activated :-/ I send the dmesg of the boot, on the kernel config file i've just added the line "OPTIONS SMP", like i always do. I have several other servers running quite well with multi processors, from PentiumD to Opterons. Can this be a bug of the RC1 ? Thanks in advance.
