One functionality I forgot about but was asked for in the past was "jail reboot" so that an admin could "restart" a jail completly from within the jail. The question is whether we may want a "jailinit" (an init running inside the jail) for that or if we want to handle it from the outside.
I like the idea of a jailinit, and have had success running our own stuff that way. But in the meantime, I could do the restart via userspace - just run the shutdown, wait for the jail to go away, and then start up again. This is in fact something I was planning on. - Jamie _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-jail To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[email protected]"
