Hi Brian,

I work in a Brazilian University, with more +/- 90 Linux Server + 15 FreeBSD + 8 OpenBSD + 3 Solaris Sparc, 3 AIX , is very dificult fro me remember sintax :-) But i use route add 200.144.xx.xx/[mask] 172.22.xx.xx for many year, and this work perfectly on freebsd and linux.

Linux user I bet ;-)

For FreeBSD you need:
#route add -net 200.144.xx.xx -netmask 255.255.254.0 172.22.x.x
