The patch solves tick vs ioctl. But running 2 or ifconfig from different screens lead to the issue (ioctl thread1 vs ioctl thread2), since usbd_do_request_flags releases the lock and so one of the ioctl thread waiting for it gets executed, altering the media_state flag.
