cpghost, The devel/boost-jam port is supposed to install the bjam executable. As I remember, before devel/boost was split into several ports, files under tools/build/v2 were not installed into the system. So that, this is not a regression. Probably, you need the devel/boost_build port. However, I do not maintain it, because I am not an expert in Boost.Build.
