I just patched up my xmonad. Just for reference the referring URL to the fix is here: http://bit.ly/cZt3UX to make Java act correctly in a non-re-parenting Window Manager. I am in a way shocked that they knew about this back at 0.8 and were up to 0.9 now with no fix... Sigh... I have not looked into this until now that I saw that you were working on SCIPlore very useful utility small and faster than Freemind in a lot of ways. Anyway... Thanks!
