Hi there, The patch below adds stage support to pear classes and pear channels (not devel/pear itself) http://people.freebsd.org/~antoine/ports/stage-pear.diff
I verified on ~170 ports from devel that the content of the generated package differs only in the timestamp in channel .reg files between staged and unstaged.
