All that just to build manual pages and i can not even opt out?  this is
not helpful.

ronn is an official build dependency. So its not false.

Yes it is "only" for man-pages - but they are important. But i get your point. If you provide a patch or at least a PR we can surely find a solution to make man/ronn optional.
