I just noticed that grpn has been delete from the freebsd ports. This is
apparently due to its use of glib12 (which is deprecated) and lack of a
maintainer. Anyone know how much difference there is between glib12 and the current version (glib20 I believe)? I've been using grpn for more years than I
can remember and hate to see it disappear.

As the application does not look very fancy (http://lashwhip.com/grpn.html) I think it might be quite easy. The hardest part is finding somebody willing to do the work for you. Or you could try it yourself. You could try to contact the original author also. As the latest version of this port is from 2002 I don't know how active he is on this project nowadays.
