FYI this build completed with no issues. So this looks like the right fix to me (modulo 3.5+ vs 3.6+).

I recently added USES=python guidelines to our Python policy:

https://wiki.freebsd.org/Python/PortsPolicy#USES.3Dpython

Unless LLVM *only* supports 3.6, USES should be changed to reflect the range of versions it does support, pinning lower and upper bounds as necessary (if necessary).
