I've just upgraded my FreeBSD server from a Pentium 133 with 32Mb EDO RAM
to a Celeron 433 with 256 Mb SDRAM.

I've rebuilt the kernel and world.

Now, I am constantly getting errors on my console screen and in dmesg
along the lines of:

> > fxp0: SCB timeout: 0x80 0x0 0x50 0x0
> > fxp0: SCB timeout: 0x80 0x0 0x50 0x0
> > pcm0:play:0: play interrupt timeout, channel dead
> > pcm0:play:0: play interrupt timeout, channel dead
> > pcm0:play:0: play interrupt timeout, channel dead
> > fxp0: SCB timeout: 0x80 0x0 0x50 0x0
> > fxp0: SCB timeout: 0x80 0x0 0x50 0x400

For the pcm0 ones, I have an Audio Excel pci card installed.

Any clues? I've searched the web, but have not come across any resolutions
for these problems.

I've also searched the FreeBSD-Questions archive.
