motherboard temperature/fan monitoring?

I'd like to be able to monitor the temperature and fan speed of one of my machines, and so far I haven't found anything that will read its sensors. I have tried lmmon and xmbmon, neither of which can find the LM78 sensor this board (Intel 440LX) supposedly has.

dmesg says it's a 440LX.
