I'm no expert, but what is the firmware level of the controller? I have an ML370 w/SmartArray 3200 booting at home. I don't use it a lot, but it boots.
It's not SMP, though, so perhaps that's no help. I'm pretty sure the firmware on my controller is at 4.50. Good luck!
