we're thinking of buying a dell poweredge 1650 at work to be our new webserver. i'd like to run the most recent version of freebsd RELENG_4_7, apache, and proftpd on it. our site has approximately 45000-50000 documents on it, and receives about 90000 hits a day. we host about 10 php/mysql database apps, i am not sure whether or not we will maintain a separate box for mysql. we probably will, though. i am listing the hardware quote below - any thoughts you guys may have, particularly in relation to hardware compatability and processing requirements would be highly appreciated. here are the server specs.
