Sybase connectivity

I see an older port called sybase-ocsd in /usr/ports/databases, but I've not been able to find out more updated information, and I wonder what the current status is of getting Sybase connectivity on FreeBSD-4.7 -- has someone a document about how to get this running, problems, etc...
