I'm afraid I must show my extreme ignorance. Using FreeBSD 5.4 I've created a log-in that starts a script I created #!/bin/sh mysql -u "username" -p"password" It works fine. I get motd, then the mysql prompt. When I type the quit command I lose my SSH connection which is great! Problem is I don't have a clue how to even search for security problems related to using a custom login similar to what I've created. Can anybody point me in the right direction(s)? I'm happy to do the reading on my own.
