Hello Andrew, Actually I wasn't asking how to disable the sendmail canonicalization.
The sendmail.cf has some rules for handling local names and they're working when invoked in test mode. It seems to me that I have mis-configured the resolver or how do the sendmail resolve names. And I need someone who could clarify me what I had done wrong.
