Hi,

I don't think so, 'cause I've installed winXP on it.
My hdd has two partitions, one of them is WinXP.

The ATA controller on that board appears to be supported...

Yes, I suppose.

um, either you are or you aren't. If you aren't, it's entirely possible that the controller you are using isn't supported.

5.4-RC4-i386

Why are you using a release candidate instead of the release?

Hi,

I tried to install freebsd in a pc with a seagate ST340014A (40Gb Barracuda7200.7) hdd but the installer doesn't find the drivers. I've checked http://www.freebsd.org/releases/5.4R/hardware-i386.html#DISK but it doesn't have any seagate hdd reference. Is it possible to install freebsd into seagate ST340014A (40Gb Barracuda7200.7)?

Thanks....
