X Windows on Toshiba Tecra M1

Just installed Freebsd 5.4 on a Toshiba Tecra M1.   Anyone know the 
right parameters for the Video?    All I get is lines and then fades to 
mostly dark gray.   I've searched the FAQ and the internet and haven't 
found anything that gives me a clue yet.
