I haven't post the error because the message is quite big.
But no problem I use xdvi now.

Kind of hard to say since you failed to list any errors. Try prefixing
your
command line with this:
script -ak ~/gv.log "place command line here - no quotation marks"
Now you can submit that file here for our perusal.
