anyone here sucessfully using cdrecord in freebsd? -scanbus option gives me this error:

Cannot open SCSI driver. cdrecord: For possible targets try 'cdrecord -scanbus'. cdrecord: For possible transport specifiers try 'cdrecord dev=help'. i have a feeling that the reason my DVD-CDRW isnt working in xine is probably rooted in the same cause. can anyone point me in the right direction here?
