Actually i had this same problem with the first version of Ariff's driver which went away when I used a later version. I would have thought it a hardware issue as Jerry suggests if I didnt have my system as a dual boot (it worked fine in windows.) are you using the latest version from http://people.freebsd.org/~ariff/ if not then its worth a try. it could be worth asking on [EMAIL PROTECTED] (the link listed suggests the the information you should supply.
