I notice too the hard link problem.. For me the problem happens when I try to read the CD or DVD into the hard disk
In the CD the hard links exists, but when I copy into the hard disk, the hard links vanishes... I think that the problem relies in the iso9660 logic.. because the same CD works fine using the tar in a 5.4 system....
