Hello All,

Brand new Dell M90 here, replacing the directors Linux laptop w/ a FreeBSD.. and of course it's not a smooth one.. :p

dmesg at bottom..

the bge0 device gives a firmware handshake timed out, when trying to get dhcp. Using a Netgear/Dlink (at his home) he says it never gets an IP, we have isc-dhcp both as a actual server and on a pfsense testing network here and it takes it a minute+ to get an IP.

He of course can not wait that long..

Any ideas?

Its running gnome2 from ports - not packages.. and the snd_hda from binary.. as well as nvidia driver compiled from ports.
