What does the "--delete" do?! I want to make a complete copy of, say, /usr/home/kline/* from here [tao] to my Ubuntu server, ethos, which has a "/home" mountpoint--- in otheer words: /home/kline/*. If the "--delete /usr/home* /home" syntax will let rsync rewrite /usr/home to /home, then fine. gary > > -Girish > _______________________________________________ > email@example.com mailing list > http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions > To unsubscribe, send any mail to > "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" -- Gary Kline [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.thought.org Public Service Unix http://jottings.thought.org http://transfinite.thought.org _______________________________________________ firstname.lastname@example.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
