It has always just worked properly for me by adding them to ~/.fonts/ and restarting the application. The handbook section on fonts in Xorg also seems to confirm this: "all fonts in /usr/local/lib/X11/fonts/ as well as ~/.fonts/ are already made available to Xft-aware applications." http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/x-fonts.html -Mark -- Internet Radio: Party107 (Trance/Electronic) - http://www.party107.com Rock 101.9 The Edge (Rock) - http://www.rock1019.net IRC: MIXXnet IRC Network - irc.mixxnet.net (Nick: MIXX941) _______________________________________________ firstname.lastname@example.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
