I don't know how other browsers work - and haven't investigated this in years - but the old Netscape/Mozilla way was to store bookmarks as an HTML file, e.g. ~/.mozilla/default/xc43whpq.slt/bookmarks.html
Assuming both browsers work this way, maybe you could symlink one to the other?
