This is invoked by /etc/rc.d/* system. Do a grep for kldstat which scripts use 
it and maybe you can work out from there, which kernel modules cause the 
problem.
Can you run kldstat from console?

Problem with today's modular software: they start with the modules
    and never get to the software part.
