Hi Andrew,

Tried the above, results as follows:
Ping ok
%ping -c 5 update1.FreeBSD.org
PING update1.FreeBSD.org ( 56 data bytes
64 bytes from icmp_seq=0 ttl=48 time=240.401 ms
64 bytes from icmp_seq=1 ttl=48 time=240.708 ms
64 bytes from icmp_seq=2 ttl=48 time=240.799 ms
64 bytes from icmp_seq=3 ttl=48 time=240.364 ms
64 bytes from icmp_seq=4 ttl=48 time=240.946 ms

No luck with using freebsd-update

localhost# /usr/sbin/freebsd-update --debug fetch
Looking up update1.FreeBSD.org mirrors... none found.
Fetching public key from update1.FreeBSD.org... fetch:
Not Found
No mirrors remaining, giving up.

Any work arounds or other possibilities? Is there any diagnostics to run
that might clarify things?
