Hmmm. There's actually a certain appeal to installing v7.1 from scratch. RHEL has the option of creating SoftRAID mirrors at install time (and later, of course). Does the FreeBSD installer have that capability, as well? If so,
no it doesn't. but nobody force you to use installer at all.
