With the previous intel driver, my screen resolution was 1400x1050, and after this latest update:
Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1280 x 960, maximum 1280 x 1280
VGA connected 1280x960+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 306mm x 230mm
   1280x960 60.0*
   1024x768 75.0 70.1 60.0 43.5
   832x624 74.6
   800x600 85.1 72.2 75.0 60.3 56.2
   640x480 85.0 75.0 72.8 66.7 59.9
   720x400 87.8 70.1

Is anyone else seeing this? Doesn't seem that I'm able to make the display fit the monitor, all of the settings are at 100% yet I've still got about 3 inches on either side of blackness.
