For the userland side it would be cd /usr/src/usr.sbin/amd/amd and
                                                            ^^^^
OOPs - make that: cd /usr/src/usr.sbin/amd typo on me

make obj && make depend && make && make install

There are two related files in /boot/kernel:

# ls -lsa /boot/kernel/amd.ko*
24 -r-xr-xr-x 1 root wheel 24414 May 9 16:37 /boot/kernel/amd.ko
78 -r-xr-xr-x 1 root wheel 79484 May 6 12:36 /boot/kernel/amd.ko.symbols

The amd.ko.symbols file was created when I upgraded to 7.2 last Wednesday. What creates that file? And how do I update it? Could it be the cause of the problem?

All the other related files were updated today.
