yes it is, but we talked about youtube-like services. it's not UDP based
very well). In streaming, lost packets are tolerated, as long as the
transmission doesn't "hang" (e.g. due to retransmissions). Here, UDP-
based protocols are often a better choice.
youtube player, and most players just use big buffer and download as fast
as it can until buffer is filled. because of this temporary "hangs" due to
packet loss isn't a problem, while you get movies always complete.
