RgbPath will cause X to fail to start, remove it from your config. Server 1.5.3 also really wants to configure its input devices via hald. This is causing some issues with moused and /dev/sysmouse. There are a couple of options for how to deal with it. [...] What this means is that to get a UK keyboard layout in xorg you need a file in /usr/local/etc/hal/fdi/policy/ I've named my copy 10-x11-keyboard.fdi and it contains: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?> <deviceinfo version="0.2"> <device> <match key="info.capabilities" contains="input.keyboard"> <merge key="input.x11_driver" type="string">kbd</merge> <merge key="input.x11_options.XkbRules" type="string">xorg</merge> <merge key="input.x11_options.XkbModel" type="string">microsoft</merge> <merge key="input.x11_options.XkbLayout" type="string">gb</merge> </match> </device> </deviceinfo> -- Bruce Cran _______________________________________________ email@example.com mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-questions-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"
