Mel, The postinstall instructions of x11-fonts/webfonts say: ... Make sure that the freetype module is loaded. If it is not, add the following line to the "Modules" section of xorg.conf or XF86Config: Load "freetype" Add the following line to the "Files" section of xorg.conf or XF86Config: FontPath "/usr/local/lib/X11/fonts/webfonts/" ===> Registering installation for webfonts-0.30_6 but the module "freetype" does not exist: (II) LoadModule: "freetype" (WW) Warning, couldn't open module freetype (II) UnloadModule: "freetype" (EE) Failed to load module "freetype" (module does not exist, 0) and there are posts in Google that this is not needed anymore because it is now parts of libXfont -- what is true? If so someone should fix the postinstall messages... matthias -- Matthias Apitz t +49-89-61308 351 - f +49-89-61308 399 - m +49-170-4527211 e <g...@unixarea.de> - w http://www.unixarea.de/ People who hate Microsoft Windows use Linux but people who love UNIX use FreeBSD. _______________________________________________ freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-questions-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"
