I'm using GENERIC kernel,
and it includes cbb(4), ed(4) device driver.
But the system does not work fine with this PC card.


You are not clear just how you are inserting the nic card. Are you trying to insert the card while Freebsd is up and running or inserting the card while the pc is powered off and them during bootup post you get those msgs?
