Matthew, you ought to know > better ... That's what I get for not testing. In fact, it doesn't work at all -- pound gets linked against the base system openssl. That's because 'WITH_OPENSSL_BASE' is defined, and that takes precedence over 'WITH_OPENSSL_PORT'. If I fix that, then, yes, you can't install any ports subsequently that link against the base OpenSSL.
