What do you get? Please describe the problem, you see! If X cannot start: Configure X first! If X starts, but you want to get KDE / Gnome: One solution could be: Start kdm - then you could login graphicaly and you could choose what session you like. To start kdm at startup: add in /etc/ttys: ttyv8 "/usr/local/bin/kdm -nodaemon" xterm on secure Another solution could be: startx /usr/local/bin/startkde This should start X with kde With kind regards, Konrad - -- Konrad Neitzel Tel: 0172 / 689 31 45 Fax: 069 / 90 50 99 53 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQE+hb+oxlHQ37B9RLMRAn8nAKC2od4ckuwYj+5hIK2+qy6gZW45BwCggdUI 8qAOKutr0cOha/Ul8z4y2Sg= =0YoN -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
