Do you know it get that ? Maybe it adds size of each file together ?
( I was using /usr/bin/ftp )

WinSCP on a Windows desktop.
In ports there is ftp/lftp, which has a du command.
I don't know how they get the value, assume they do just that: ls each
directory and add up.
