This link might help. It's the RNIB page on using technology when blind or partially sighted. The link to the beginner's guides is where you should start.


However, as Polytropon said in his mail, there are far too many web pages with no real accessibility for anyone with less than perfect faculties, in spite of the fact it's a legal requirement in many countries. A friend of mine is an accessibility consultant and has regular rants about this.
